I have cystic fibrosis, which has progressed to the point that I need a lung transplant. Out-of-pocket costs for the transplant will be in the tens of thousands of dollars, plus ongoing costs for transplant rejection drugs afterward.

Delaina Winters (wife of my first cousin Marcus Winters) writes:
Save the date! Marcus and I are back at it again! We are so excited to bring Fit U Zumba instructors to McCleskey Middle School on Tuesday, Feb. 19 for our 100 Days Til Summer Break Zumba Fundraising Event. Proceeds benefit Marcus’ cousin Jim Henry’s life-saving, double lung transplant this summer! There are all sorts of AWESOME participation options, and I can promise you a fun time of shaking it with your friends and that you will burn LOTS of calories while making a difference in the life of someone in the McCleskey extended family. I recently started Zumba at nearly 4 months pregnant, and I am LOVING it!
Please feel free to share this flyer with friends and family in the area on Facebook and in person. We will be printing them up this week for distribution, and you can ask Marcus or I for some if you’d like. It’d be incredible if some of you awesome ladies would be willing to challenge yourself to bring a girlfriend or two (OR MORE!) from the area on our behalf! Every little bit helps. Mrs. Lyons has graciously offered to share this info. with our local feeder schools as well! You rock Claire!
See the attached flyer in PDF for all details.
NOTE: Men, this is a female only class, but I’d love to have your assistance as parking attendants, guides, and merchandise salesmen! Ladies would love to see you there serving their needs and interests! Please email me if interested! DON’T FORGET that your wives and teen/adult daughters are more than welcome to join us, and they’d probably love a night away from the house, chores, etc.!
Thanks so much for your continued support,
Delaina and Marcus Winters
